Woman cleared of attack on girl

Mrs Christina Ritchie (32) and the teenage girl (16) got involved in a row, near Mrs Ritchie’s home, after the girl had made comments about her daughter. She denied she grabbed hold of the girl and hit her. She said the teenager had started it all by grabbing her hair first and had also kicked her when the two confronted each other.

 

A lump of hair pulled from the girl’s head had happened when two neighbours had pulled the women and the girl apart.
